Just out of curiosity, I've had this deck idea mulling in the depths of my mind for a fair bit now.

Would the marquis (pirate/noz), deran voyace councilor and thunder king make for a good lightning blast deck?

why not marquis, Mylad, Thunder king?

Because mylad is pirate/sapheart, the idea of the deck is to not only make use of pirate lightning cards but noz ones. Noz have some good ones as well, so by using doyan verace councilor, he'll copy the marquis guilds giving him both noz and pirate. And thunder king can play lightning cards without restriction.

Also by bringing thunder king that mixes it up a bit should you run into a high spirit deck you have someone who can dish out decent physical damage as well, not to mention if he gets his full equipment set, and should someone try to counter with there own lightning spells thunder king is immune.

Noz have mainly AOE thunder spells and in comparison to pirate thunder spells they arn't as useful

And after all Mylad gives +1 spirit to allies when play lightning spells
